This project provides a development of 80 eco-homes on a site near Nottingham situated near a busy road but with attractive western views across a golf course. The design emphasises the countryside views, with ‘fingers’ of green space, including communal and private gardens, snaking through the development. To the East, and in contrast,  harder landscaped but still welcoming entrance courtyards provide a buffer zone to the living accommodation from the busy road.

The scheme contains many features reflecting its zero-carbon target, including solar PV systems, heat recovery, rainwater harvesting, a sustainable drainage system, green roofs and allotments.
