Having brought up their family in their house for many decades our clients love their location and mature garden but wanted to modernise their 1970’s property to create a modern 4-bedroom home that could also welcome in the next generation of their family.

Their bungalow has been extended and completely refurbished and the new extension projects out into the generous garden to the rear, forming a courtyard to embrace the garden.

A double height entrance leads to a dramatic vaulted kitchen/dining/family room which in turn links to the garden through full height glazing. A shower room and indoor resistance swimming pool complete the new additions.

Existing space was also reconfigured, and Stewart & Stewart were appointed to design the interiors & furniture including a new bespoke handcrafted kitchen, media wall, bookcases, wardrobes & three new bathrooms.

The new spaces have transformed the original house allowing their expanding family to relax & socialise in comfort and their grandchildren to have fun.
