A scheme for a new small office building and nine townhouses which are all situated immediately adjacent to an extremely busy railway line. The three storey houses face away from the railway line with an acoustically sealed rear wall.
The internal layouts and are designed with living accommodation at the top storey which in turn link to spacious roof gardens. To further overcome the lack of rear aspect spacious lightwells and ground floor patios transform some very unpromising site constraints. The project incorporates many sustainable design features that also helps secure wider environmental improvements to the surrounding area.
