The existing semi-detached home occupies a fantastic location on the fringes of the village and has spectacular views over open countryside. However, the existing floor plan didn’t maximise the potential of the site and the main living spaces were not designed to take advantage of its surroundings. Our design solution involved very little extension but completely reconfigured the ground floor to create an open plan kitchen, dining, living area with a dual aspect relationship both to the rear garden and the longer countryside views.
